Big Horn Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine is a network of clinics that are focused on providing the absolute best customer service along with excellent medical care.  Our views differ quite radically from “traditional” medical clinics.  We believe we need to be available when you need us; not when it is convenient for us!  We take great pride each time a patient tells us that “we are not like any other clinic they have ever been to.”  It is our goal to provide each and every patient with the best experience possible and we will treat every patient with the respect and confidentiality that everyone deserves.  Our mission is to provide the people of Wyoming with the best urgent care and occupational medicine services in the State.  This mission enables our staff to do everything possible to help each and every patient in every way we possibly can.

Our Occupational Medicine program is the result of more than 10 years of design and our willingness to provide nearly any service a company could need; under one roof.  We have worked with many companies in Wyoming and across the country to develop programs that employers need to keep their employees healthy and at work.  We work with each company to design programs that are specific to their needs and that fit exactly what they need and want.  We are always looking for new services that we can develop to better help our companies with their employee health and wellness needs.  We are proud to be Wyoming’s ONLY network of Occupational Medicine and Testing facilities.  It is our goal to provide services to our companies all over the State of Wyoming.  Nearly all of our services are available on a walk-in basis; appointments are not required for almost every service we offer.

When it is not possible for us to have facilities in certain areas, we have our Mobile Occupational Clinic that we use to provide almost every service that is offered in our clinics.  We can come to companies across the State and around the Region to provide services to their employees where the services are needed.  Everything from flu shots to physicals, hearing testing, wellness services, and even Cardiac Stress Testing are provided through our Mobile Clinic.  This service has been especially well received by our clients and has become a very important part of our program.  We currently have one Mobile Clinic; however, if the demand continues to increase at these levels, we will add a second Mobile Clinic in the very near future.

We have a very unique business model that not only uses clinics that we own, but we also partner with clinics in some areas to provide our Occupational Medicine services.  These partnerships are developed with existing clinics who share our commitment to customer service and excellent medical care; and who make the commitment to provide the same levels of care and service that our patients and customers experience in our owned clinics.  These partnerships have proven to be very successful due to our choosing partner clinics who have the same goals and values we have, and due to our giving them access to every part of our programs and being available to them anytime they have questions.  Many companies are coming to us asking if we can provide services in specific areas in which they operate that do not have Occupational Services, or that have very fragmented services through many providers rather than one clinic.  We are listening to our clients and planning expansions and the timing of expansions with these requests in mind.

We work very closely with our companies when treating work injuries.  We have intimate knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations and work very hard to keep employees at work and to avoid reportable and recordable injuries whenever possible.  We work with our clients to design work restrictions that will allow employees to recover while remaining at work.  If companies do not have light duty programs, we will gladly work with them to develop these programs so employees are not removed from work while they heal and recover.  It is our policy that we will not remove an employee from work.  We will design restrictions that provide for excellent medical care while allowing the employee to remain on the job.

Our clinics provide a full range of Urgent Care services as well.  We work closely with a patient’s primary care provider and act as a resource for patients when they need immediate care but cannot get an immediate appointment with their primary care provider.  We do not provide primary care services so we are not competitors for primary care providers.  Many primary care providers; and even several specialists refer patients to us when their schedules do not allow for immediate appointments.  This allows us to provide necessary medical care for patients and continue plans that have been established by their normal providers.  If patients require treatment for chronic conditions and do not have a primary care provider, we will help them get established with a local practice so their continuing care needs are met.

We would like the opportunity to prove to you or your company that we will provide excellent patient care coupled with incredible customer service to provide each and every patient with a positive experience.  Please come in, or give us a call to discuss how we can best serve you or your company.
